Good luck with your knee. Hope you have a quick recovery.
Say, how do you like your VTR 250? Always thought they were a pretty nice bike, but never have ridden one.
Huck, what is the purpose of the Security Check to post? Seems like an inconvenience, but must be a reason??

I had a CX650 along with several CX500s and a standard GL500. Rode the GL500 down to the Panama Canal in 1997. Bullet proof bike. You didn't need to show the knee stitches since I'm going on a dual sport ride in WNC in late April. www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=532323&page=19

Chris Hey Chris, I love the little VTR250, screaming little 250 V-Twin water cooled 14k redline...Runs surprisingly well, not much on the bottom, but rolls on fine once it's going...will haul me up into triple digits, and handles great, super light and flickable....would love to have a new one(they still make them in Japan, but now they look like a Ducati Monster And looks like someone else answered your other question. Hoping to be walking again in a couple months, so should be back on at least the street bikes then.
